sadly, i didnt took any pictures while at the Marina Barrage the other day.bf joined my cousins and all. it was pretty nerve wrecking for him, you see. but anyways, it went pretty well. alright moving on.. i went for a job interview at Body Shop the other time. it was definitely weird to be interviewed in the shop itself when customers are around, looking at the various products. anyhoos, i'm glad enought that i managed to secure a job at last after so many tries of different kinds of jobs. and to add on, i'll be working at the Causeway Point outlet, simply because it's nearer to home and school. cause i'll still be working when school reopens, after school hours i mean. drop by and see me okay! i too, went for Syafiq's recommendation job after that interview. i brought along Cousin Lela. and after listening to the manager talking, i have to say hearing all those "good deals" makes it all looks so familiar like all the ones shown in tv. i hope you get what i mean. alright, moving on. somehow, i feel like ranting on this particular thing i've noticed. okay, the thing is, i keep wondering on why do some companies need people who can speak both English and Mandarin? as in it's part of their requirements. i mean, for god's sake, i'm not trying to be a racist here but why should this be happening? it was really hurtful in a way cause i experienced such a thing. here's the thing. i called this particular company. me: hello, is this ..... company? i would like to ask whether the application for the post is still available? receptionist: oh, you can speak mandarin? me: not really. receptionist: oh, we are looking for people who can speak and understand mandarin. me: oh okay, nevermind, thank you. and she said bye and hang up. what-the-fuck was that supposed to mean? those who can feel me, will understand. gawd, to have such people giving you such treatments makes me feel like going down there and burn her alive for being so mothertooot. just so you know, i still couldnt understand the logic behind that requirements. and one more thing, i'm not sure if you people have noticed this.. but if you do, you surely would agree with me that there's such law whereby it's a must for companies to hire at least one china man in that particular job. and that has definitely pisses me off. okay, whatever. for now, i'm just happy enough to have a job. i gotta wait for my incharge to get back to me. please make it real soon. okay. chao. |
